The cute dragon is extremely popular and due to its temporary rarity still in great demand – and with the Community Day the Shiny chances for Kapuno are increasing exorbitantly. Community Day with Kapuno on June 25th, 2022

As emphasized above, the following information is important: Community Day in Pokémon Go with Kapuno will take place on Saturday, June 25, 2022 between 11:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.!

• Kapuno appears more frequently in the wild and with luck you can get hold of it as Shiny.
• Trikephalo, the further development of Duodino, learns the exclusive charge attack Spinner during development between 11:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. Spinner deals 65 points of damage in Trainer Battles such as Arena and Raid Battles.
• Eggs placed in an incubator during the event will hatch four times faster.
• You have double the chance of XL Candy when catching Kapuno.
• You get double catch candies.
• Lure Modules activated during the event will last for three hours.
• Smoke lasts for three hours during the event.
• Take some snaps during Community Day – you might be in for a surprise!
• During the event and up to five hours after, you can make one additional special exchange (maximum 3 that day).
• Each exchange costs 50 percent less Stardust between 11:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m.
• If enough Pokémon are caught at a PokéStop with a Lure Module, wild Duodino will appear near that PokéStop.
• Bonus Raid Battles on June 25, 2022 between 2:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. you can face special level 4 raid battles – against Duodino. If you emerge victorious from a battle, more wild Kapuno will spawn within 300 meters of the arena for 30 minutes!

The best tips for full Community Day success!

Before the event, you want to complete the following tasks:

1. Clean up your Pokebox and create space, because if you want to have a lot of Kapuno or Shiny Kapuno and then also want to hoard Trikephalo, you can already estimate that you have to catch a lot of Kapuno even with the use of pineapple berries. The development from Kapuno to Hydreigon costs you 125 Kapuno candies and Kapuno’s has been a dime a dozen. Very few coaches, and certainly not casual players, will have a lot of candy on the high edge.
2. Accumulate enough Poké Balls, because if you want to catch a lot of Kapuno, you also need a lot of Pokéballs. If you want to use the three hours effectively, you will already burn between 200 and 300 Pokéballs.
3. Pick up Pineapple Berries and Silver Pineapple Berries! If you still have field research or special research steps that give you pinap berries, then do them and pick up the berries to quadruple the amount of candy per capuno caught – as a reminder: A double candy bonus is active for Community Day .

During the event you will also benefit from some other bonuses! Therefore, consider…

1. … Lucky Eggs throw in!
2. If you don’t want to run, but want to enjoy the effect of a lure module, then go to a play location with many PokéStops in close proximity to each other – every major city has one; in Nuremberg, for example, this is at the Ship of Fools, where Spitalgasse and Plobenhofstrasse meet. If enough Kapuno are caught near a PokéStop, Duodino will also appear, and you know what that means: even more catch candies.
3. Trainers who are level 31 or higher are twice as likely to receive XL Candies when catching Pokémon, so don’t despise that.
4. Smoke lasts for three hours, as does Lure Modules.
5. Tricephalo only evolves between 2pm and 7pm. Why? Then you’ve fully enjoyed the Kapuno spawns, because you don’t want to check every Kapuno’s WP during the three hours of Community Day and thus waste valuable time. After 2:00 p.m. and before 7:00 p.m. you can muck out and send the Kapuno and Shiny with low WP – that way you get more candies. On Community Day, Trikephalo learns the charge attack Spinner until 7:00 p.m.
