PS Plus: The first games already have an expiry date

Sony’s new subscription service has just started, but some games in the PlayStation Plus subscription already have an expiry date. The first two to disappear again are Shadow Warrior 3 for Syberia.

So be sure to watch out for these two games if you still want to experience them on PS Plus. To find the titles that will no longer be available, scroll down the catalog to the “Last Chance to Play” heading.

Shadow Warrior 3 for the PS4 is from the PS Plus Extra catalogue only briefly Available until July 5th. Syberia for the PS3 from the PS Plus Premium subscription, on the other hand, is still available until July 19 and can also be taken along wonderfully as a linear story adventure until then.

Some other games already have an end date entered, but since there is still a little time for them, they are not yet in the “last chance” section.

Shadow Warrior 3 is one of the first games to leave the PS Plus Extra catalogue.

Some other games also show expiration dates, although they don’t appear in the Last Chance to Play section, only in search. These are NBA 2K22 (until August 31), WRC 10 (until August 31), Red Dead Redemption (until October 17), Red Dead Redemption 2 (until September 20), and Red Dead Redemption: Undead Nightmare (until October 17).

Sony’s FAQ on game availability states: “Some games in the Games Catalog and the Classics Catalog have an end date when they leave the service, which will be announced in good time”.

If you still don’t have an overview of the PlayStation Plus jungle, we have all the content in the Essential, Extra and Premium subscriptions here again.
