Here’s the full video again for you:

Now Bethesda has released additional information about the heroes and the single player or co-op mode in the game.

The heroes and heroines

A mercenary, a cryptid hunter, a rescue engineer and a student walk into a bar – no, this isn’t the beginning of a flat joke, but these are the four different characters that players can choose from in Redfall to start the dangerous bloodsuckers put the tranquil island in its place. You can play any character in Redfall, solo or in a team with up to three other players – and in any combination of characters.

Solo or in a team?

Redfall’s open world is filled with challenges, secrets and dangerous vampires out for your blood. Luckily, you don’t have to face it all alone if you want to.

You can experience Redfall with up to three other players in co-op. You are free to choose from the ranks of heroes and heroines, each with their own unique abilities.

But no worry! Arkane stays true to its DNA of narrative single-player campaigns with the greatest possible freedom of play: Even though Redfall is Arkane’s first co-op game, you can play the entire game Play through solo – without an AI companion, so as a real solo adventure. In a team, on the other hand, you benefit from additional bonuses by cleverly combining the different skills and trying out new strategies.

Director Harvey Smith said, “A big focus of Redfall is the solo experience that Arkane is passionate about. All of our games have something in common creatively, but are very different in their own right. Redfall is an open world title but can be played solo with any of the hero characters. It then becomes more of a step-by-step exploration, scouting and sneaking to gather intel on encounters and dodge or catch enemies.”

“One of the cornerstones of the game is familiarity,” added lead producer Aaron Carter. “For our heroes, that familiarity lies in the bonds they form over time. You can see some of that in the trailer. There are systems in the game that affect the bonds between characters when playing together. Our multiplayer approach is to encourage players to experience the campaign with friends and acquaintances. Inviting others on your adventure should not only give you a shared experience, but also new ways of approaching situations.”
