Diablo Immortal: New content should come “in the next few weeks”.
Adam “PezRadar” Fletcher, Blizzard’s Diablo Community Lead, has commented on Reddit about the first Diablo Immortal content update.
Sometimes it is enough to ask a very simple question on a communication platform to get an official answer. For example, OldmanGeorge3 asked a few days ago in the Diablo Immortal section of Reddit: “When are patches or updates due?“
Blizzard on the first update of Diablo Immortal
Only a short time later Adam “PezRadar” Fletcher was already at the start. The “Diablo Community Lead” at Blizzard replied:
“Over the next few weeks, we’ll be releasing our first update as we near the end of the current Battle Pass. We will explain some details about our content cadence in a separate post. The plans for the next update will focus on the Battle Pass along with some features, bug fixes and so on.
As we’ve noted in the past, major gameplay content will be free for users, so expect more story and such for everyone in the future.”
Under PezRadar’s post, a player points out that “in the next few weeks” is a rather bad strategy for mobile games. These games thrive on the constant flow of new events and rewards that encourage players to log in. It’s already difficult to find players for certain content. In his experience, the launch enthusiasm has already evaporated.
how do you see it? Could you also already do content replenishment for Diablo Immortal (buy now ) tolerate? And what do you think of the focus of the next update on the Battle Pass? By the way, chances are that with the upcoming season, the Battle Pass will revolve around the Bloodsworn, the featured in this Blizzard blog post.
