Nintendo Direct is set to take place next week and could bring hit RPG to the Switch

Perhaps Persona 5 will finally make it to the Nintendo Switch.

The rumor partially coincides with statements by Alanah Pearce, who claimed that the next Direct will take place on Wednesday, a day later. A possible explanation for this would be that the two insiders have different times due to different time zones.

What is shown? According to Requena, mainly games are shown in which Nintendo was neither involved as a publisher nor as a developer. He states that some Persona title should be shown, but he doesn’t know exactly which one. In addition, a game is to be ported to Switch that has been available on other platforms for four years.

The Persona title could be a port of Persona 5. Atlus has hinted in the past that Persona 5 could make it to Nintendo’s hybrid console. On the one hand, this is supported by the fact that Persona 5 Strikers has already been released on Switch.
