Skull & Bones has been ranked by the ESRB - Blood, Drugs, Violence and More

Skull & Bones has been in development for quite a while. The long-awaited stock has now been classified by the European Systemic Risk Board (ESRB) after rumors of an imminent release surfaced.

The classification is no surprise

The title, which according to Ubisoft should be released before March 2023, is not for children. Skull & Bones was in the by the ESRB Regions covered are rated M for “Mature” and is therefore considered a game for adults over 17 years of age. Of course, there is a reason for the classification.

According to the ESRB, the pirate title contains “blood, strong language, salacious themes, use of drugs and violence”. On the rating page, all the gory scenes, the swear words, and all the other elements that take the game off course as a family friend are summed up in a synopsis.

But that’s not all that can be inferred from the classification, because the title should contain in-game purchases. We’ll find out more next month, because here Ubisoft could reveal the release date, among other things, according to a recent report.
