Sonic Origins: Since the fan heart bleeds
SEGA does, what Nintendo doesn’t! That was the slogan with which Sega attacked its competitor Nintendo in the 90s. With the blue hedgehog Sonic, they put up a serious competitor to Super Mario and whether it was better to jump or run on the SNES or the Mega Drive, fans are still arguing about it today – 30 years later. And for this anniversary, Sega is bringing back the good old Sonic parts from the Sega Mega Drive in one collection on PC, Nintendo Switch, Xbox and PlayStation. We took a look at the collection called Sonic Origins and make it clear why the nostalgia glasses are tempting, but you should think twice about throwing the money down Sega’s throat here.
