Next Nintendo Direct announced in June 2022

Finally: Nintendo has them next Nintendo Direct finally officially announced! So the rumors were true, so at the end of June the Japanese company is presenting again as part of its hugely popular regular show News about games for the Nintendo Switch. And that’s less than a week after the last Nintendo Direct, there’s never been such a short gap between two shows. However, the was already a disappointment for everyone who went to one “correct” big Direct wait – and unfortunately this applies to the now announced release again to.

Next Direct again not a “big” one

Last Wednesday, June 22, 2022, Nintendo presented in a new direct show namely only one game, namely the Japanese role-playing game Xenoblade Chronicles 3, the Released for the Switch at the end of July.


This time the viewers get to see more than just a single title, but it is also the newly announced Nintendo Direct again not about the long-awaited “next big June Direct”.

That means: none Zelda – Breath of the Wild 2, no new DLC tracks for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, no Metroid Prime 4, no new announcements like a new Mario game, generally not own games. Instead, the titles of external developers and publishers in focus.
