Skull and Bones: Is there an official reveal of the pirate epic soon?

Already announced at E3 in 2017, the release was postponed from Skull and Bones indefinitely and it was very quiet about that for a long time Multiplayer pirate game – until now.

As Henderson also points out in his report, multiple sources indicated that Game is “almost done”. It’s just a bit lacking in depth and some ship looting issues still need to be addressed. These sources are about testerswho have favourited “Skull and Bones” in a tutorial test already in April 2022 were allowed.

Skull and Bones: New gameplay and console details

The indications are confirmed by the Age rating of the American ESRB (Entertainment Software Rating Board), which in the audit report on top of that dewy details brought to light. Here is an excerpt:

Players take on the role of a shipwrecked outcast embarking on a journey to become a pirate captain. As players take on missions, they can explore settlements and engage in dramatic naval battles. From the first-person perspective, players command their crew, cannoning at rivals […] to shoot to get loot/goods. Enemy ships can be rammed and boarded, leading to short cutscenes where crew members shoot or slash each other. Combat is highlighted with gunfire/cannon fire, explosions, and blood spatter effects. In some areas, corpses are depicted being impaled on spikes or hung from nooses.”

From the ESRB Audit Report also shows for which platforms the Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag spin-off “Skull and Bones” will be released: PC, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5 and Google’s streaming service Stadia. Last-gen consoles will probably no longer be served.
