Streamer bids for Llane sword from Warcraft film at a bargain price
The original props from the Warcraft film are still popular with collectors six years after their cinema premiere. A few days ago, the streamer Mizkif was able to secure the sword of King Llane at a bargain price.
Uffz, the cinema premiere of Warcraft: The Beginning is already more than six years behind us. Who still feels old now? Who knows, maybe she cares Takeover by Microsoft in the years to come that the actually planned second part of the Warcraft film will eventually be implemented. If that happens, however, Legendary Pictures will likely have to redesign all of the props – most of the original props are likely to have been sold at auction by now.
Collectors love Warcraft props
At a Auction in 2018 For example, one collector snagged King Llane’s shielded armor for $60,000. The king’s sword with scabbard sold for $51,000. Lothar’s armor plus sword cost $41,000. A total of 3,532 bidders invested a total of $1,448,295 to secure items such as Atiesh or Orgrim’s Doomhammer.
Already one year later the biggest bids were then no longer quite as high (but still high enough). Here are the top 5:
- King Llane’s “Stunt Battle Armor”: $20,625
- Royal Alliance Guardian Steel Sword: $15,625
- Aluminum Sword of King Llane: $13,750
- King Llane’s “Flashback Battle Armor”: $13,125

Streamer grabs sword from King Llane
And how much will you have to pay for well-known original props from the Warcraft film in 2022? Well, a few days ago the Streamer Mizkif (2 million followers on Twitch) found out. He was after a prop we had before: King Llane’s sword with an ornate scabbard. Apparently his limit was $10,000. And he was lucky, at 9,500 dollars the competition jumped off, here you can see the moment of the auction:
Mizkif himself was delighted that he had “saved $500” at the auction. If we look at the 2018 price, one could just as easily argue that it saved more than $41,000.
At present, the chances are good that the sword will continue to lose value in the years to come. However, should our thought in the introduction become reality (Microsoft, Blizzard and Legendary are doing a second part), the opposite could suddenly be the case. Until then, the sword will definitely look great on the wall or in a showcase.
