WoW: Don’t buy the new “Complete Collection” for 110 euros
With the start of the WoW: Dragonflight pre-sale phase, Blizzard is also offering a new “Complete Collection” in two variants. However, the price is very high. Thanks to the Summer Sale, you can currently get Shadowlands, Dragonflight, and some WoW game time for less.
It’s been running for a few days Presale phase of WoW: Dragonflight. Cost of the next expansion: at least 49.99 euros. There is also a Heroic Edition for 69.99 euros and an Epic Edition for 89.99. In addition, Blizzard offers for 129.99 euros a Collector’s Edition, which we find very unsexy.
New complete package, what a price Oo
Parallel to the addon presale, Blizzard has put a new complete package for World of Warcraft in the shop. The “Complete collection” is available in two versions and the “Heroic Edition” for 109.99 euros includes:
- World of Warcraft: Dragonflight (available at launch)
- Pet Drakks as a bonus item for pre-purchasing Dragonflight
- World of Warcraft: Shadowlands (Available Immediately)
- Character Boost for Dragonflight (Level 60)
- Character Boost for Shadowlands (Level 50)
- Enchanted Everwyrm flying mount
- Quest for the Vestments of the Eternal Traveler transmogrification set
- Flying Mount Entwined Dreamweaver
- Wandering Ancient mount
- Pet Murkastrasza
- 30 days playing time
If you add another 20 euros to it, you will also get the following with the “Epic Edition” of the “Complete Collection”:
- Another 30 days of game time
- Back Transmogrification Wings of Awakening in 5 color variants
- Timewalker’s Hearthstone
- Head Transmogrification Diadem of the Spell-Keeper
Better take advantage of the summer offer
However, if after the Dragonflight announcement you’re thinking about jumping into Shadowlands now and then playing the addon for sure, there’s a cheaper way to do it than the “Complete Collection”. Thanks to the current summer campaign, you can Buy Shadowlands for 19.99 instead of 39.99 euros. The base pack also includes the Wandering Ancient mount. Add to that the basic edition of Dragonflight for 49.99 euros and about 13 euros for one month of playtime and you end up with rounded 83 euros.
If you’re also keen on some of the additional in-game goodies, then the “Complete Collection” isn’t worth it either. Because then you would have to reckon with the 69.99 euros for the “Heroic Edition” from Dragonflight and the 27.49 euros for the Heroic Edition (total sum: 97.48 euros versus 109.99 euros). You can only save a little money with the “Complete Collection” if you really want to have everything. The respective epic editions currently cost 89.99 euros and 40.99 euros individually, so the total is 130.98 euros versus 129.99 euros. With a discount like this, bargain hunters and bargain hunters won’t be overjoyed, will they?
