WoW: First guild masters toughest AQ40 hardmode in Season of the Championship
Anyone who thinks World of Warcraft Classic content is a walk in the park should check out the Temple of Ahn’Qiraj Void Hardmode in Season of the Championship. Only recently, with Polar, the first guild was able to master this challenge.
The first season of the World of Warcraft championship has been proving impressively for many months that the well-known vanilla challenges can be really tough with a few targeted adjustments. Let’s just take that current content phase around the Temple of Ahn’Qiraj. The war effort in Silithus started in April 2022, so ambitious guilds were already in the temple quite often. But only now could a raid master the new version of C’Thun’s home on the most difficult mode.
Void Hardmode finally defeated
I’m sure you’ve noticed: In AQ40 Season of the Championship there is an optional hardmode that guilds can activate after Skeram. This offers a total of four variants, which differ in the boss damage caused, in the bosses’ health points and in mechanics, whereby you can only activate the higher modes if you have the required reputation.
For the hardest mode “Void” you need an exalted reputation with the Spawn of Nozdormu. The rewards are bosses with a lot of life points, which also deal significantly more damage with their abilities, and on top of that, every fight is as if C’Thun is at the start, summoning all of his tentacles and every now and then his deadly eye beam works.
If you want to see what it looks like in action, check out Guild Polar’s World First video. It was the first community ever to master this challenge – congratulations!

What awaits us in Naxxramas?[/h2]This achievement is all the more impressive when you realize once again that all the world buffs from WoW (buy now ) Classic cannot be used in Season of the Championship raid instances. In any case, we’re very excited to see what new tricks Blizzard will come up with for the final challenge in Naxxramas. There was already a few days ago a first look at what awaits us in the necropolis.
