Fans have resumed work on a remake of the classic The Simpsons: Hit & Run.

All in all, that’s a little surprising, since developer Reuben “Reubs” Ward had removed an earlier version of the project from his Patreon account to avoid potential legal issues.

A new video shows the progress of the fan remake, which takes you into an open world. Further improvements are planned for the future, for example on the vehicles, there should also be an online multiplayer mode, a quest system and improved graphics.
