A new leak now suggests that the mode is now being developed as an independent free-to-play game under the name “Project Nexus”. The gameplay should be based on the popular online shooter “Escape from Tarkov”, which has a very tactical and realistic component.

The whole thing sounds more like a role-playing game and is in contrast to shooters like Modern Warfare 2.
