Nintendo: Direct Mini: New Switch games this afternoon

The Japanese game developer would like to present us new switch games in a Nintendo Direct Mini this afternoon. This time it’s all about titles from third-party developers.

The Direct Mini is supposed to run across our screens for 25 minutes and bring us closer to new “games from partners that are being developed for the Nintendo Switch”. But what is it supposed to be about?

What games will we see?

On the Nintendo YouTube channel it starts at 3 p.m. German time. The Super Mario group usually limits the release period for the titles of such an event – ​​but not this time. There is also silence about the possible new games that we should see.

But the number of possible games is not unlimited anyway: After the presentation of Xenoblade Chronicles 3 in its own Nintendo Direct episode a few days ago and the release of Mario Strikers: Battle League Football or Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes, there is little that we can do currently comes to mind. The new Pokémon titles Crimson & Crimson are dropped due to the in-house Pokémon Direct and the Breath of the Wild sequel has already been postponed to next year.

On the other hand, playable scenes for Mario + Rabbids: Sparks of Hope or Live A Live would be conceivable. Maybe there’s news about the Persona ports – after all, the third, fourth and fifth parts of the series were recently included in Xbox Game Pass.

Bayonetta 3: Unlikely!

Unfortunately, there are many arguments against a presentation of Bayonetta 3 on the Nintendo Direct Mini – the showcase should not last longer than half an hour. As such, Nintendo is unlikely to announce one of its most eagerly awaited titles in such a “casual” manner.

We have some hope that Hollow Knight: Silksong will be featured. With the sequel, Team Cherry wants to build on the huge success of the first part of its Metroidvania interpretation. In the Xbox and Bethesda Showcase a few weeks ago, it was announced that we would be able to prepare for the game within the next twelve months – we may already find out today when the time has come.
