The team for Horizon 2074 consists of talents from The Boys and Saw

First details about the team working on Sony’s TV adaptation of Horizon Zero Dawn have been revealed.

More and more details come to light

Journalist Jeff Grubb has one list discovered on the Directors Guild of Canada Ontario website, which enumerates all crew members involved in the project.

There are 27 talents in total from film and television – including first assistant director Jack Boem, who worked on The Boys and Resident Evil: Welcome to Raccoon City, and art director Michele Brady, who worked on The Expanse and Saw 2.

“This is the crew for Horizon 2074. This confirms the name and filming in Toronto. As I previously reported, the series will likely be filmed in Toronto due to tax breaks,” writes Grubb.

In May, Sony revealed its plans for the upcoming Netflix series on the franchise. Grubb then claimed that the series will be called Horizon 2074 and that filming is currently taking place in Toronto.

“The series as it’s planned now is called Horizon 2074 and it’s going to split its time between the timeline you see in the games and the timeline where things start to fall,” he said in a Grubsnax -Consequence.

“The idea is that it’s not going to be a reboot or a remake or some sort of reinterpretation of the game’s plot. It’s going to take place in parallel and sort of explain other elements that happened in the game.”
