Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot is voluntarily giving up a third of his salary for fiscal year 2022.

As Ubisoft announces, CEO Yves Guillemot will voluntarily waive 30 percent of his salary for the 2022 financial year as a result of not achieving set company goals. Instead of 935,431 euros, Guillemot will earn 624,824 euros.

“This is a personal decision by Yves Guillemot, taking into account that the company has not met the financial targets that it publicly announced to the markets,” said a representative of the French company.

In addition to the very successful titles Assassin’s Creed Valhalla and Rainbow Six Siege, games such as Rainbow Six Extraction and Roller Champions clearly missed their intended goals.

Beyond Good & Evil 2 and Skull & Bones have been in development for years and have been struggling with issues from time to time. However, there could be news about the latter soon.
