This is what Zelda: Breath of the Wild looks like with multiplayer

A speedrunner completed all shrines without using a module in Zelda: Breath of the Wild.

As we continue to patiently await more info on the upcoming sequel to The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild have to wait, the community is expanding the first part with a lot of new content. The latest project is one multiplayer mod, in which two links can be in the game world of Hyrule at the same time. In a live stream, the speed runners PointCrow and Croton the mod now tried each.

Project still in development

At the moment, the multiplayer mod is not yet available to the public. There are also a few more limitations, which players must be prepared for. This is how the save data is shared with each other. This also means that both links share hearts and inventory. However, all other abilities work independently. You also need one Third Party Software (e.g. parsec) to be able to access the host’s PC.

Fans invent new game mode

Of course, two links in Hyrule offer completely new possibilities. PointCrow took the opportunity and tried the idea “Speedrunner vs Hunter” on twitch. Here, the task of the speedrunner is to complete the title as quickly as possible, while the hunter throws all sorts of obstacles in his way. You can see what all this looks like in action in the Live stream from PointCrow look at. You can find the video here below.
