4 New Bonus Games for Switch Online: Get these classics with the Expansion Pass

Switch Online is getting new fodder.

Those who own the expansion pass for Nintendo Switch Online can regularly look forward to new N64 and Sega Mega Drive games. While Nintendo releases a game on their 64-bit console every month, Sega’s platform has so far been at the back. But that’s over now, because four new classics are now available in the Mega Drive app for Switch, Switch Lite and Switch OLED, which we would like to introduce to you briefly (via Nintendo).

These are the four new Mega Drive games for Switch Online:

• Comic Zone: As the name suggests, the title is set in a world inspired by classic comics. A comic artist gets lost in the Comix Zone and has to fight through panels full of mutants to escape.
• Target Earth: This action-packed shooter impresses with its exciting mix of platforming and shooter passages, all in an armored mech suit. With good performances you earn better pieces of equipment with which you have to beat your way through eight levels.
• Zero Wing: You may have heard of the “All your base are belong to us!” meme. This botched sentence comes from the side scrolling shooter Zero Wing. With cannons, lasers and homing missiles mounted on the spaceship, there are numerous battles to be fought and monstrous bosses to be defeated.
• Mega Man: The Wily Wars: The highlight of the newcomers is Mega Man: The Wily Wars, which includes 16-bit remakes of the first three games in the acclaimed Mega Man series. If you complete all three titles, you will also face a completely new boss in Wily Tower.

If you don’t have a subscription yet: Switch Online not only grants you access to a free library with several selected NES and SNES classics, but is also the basic requirement for being able to play online.

The basic subscription is divided into the following prices:

• 1 month: 3.99 euros
• 3 months: 7.99 euros
• 12 months: 19.99 euros
• 12 months family subscription: 34.99 euros

If that’s not enough for you, you can subscribe to the expansion pass for a surcharge. This costs:

• for 12 months: 40 euros
• for 12 months family subscription: 70 euros

The Expansion Pass gives you access to selected N64 and Mega Drive games that you can download for free or at no additional cost.
