PlayStation VR2: Tobii delivers the eye-tracking technology

Tobii is supplying the eye-tracking technology for Sony’s PlayStation VR2, the company announced today.

“PlayStation VR2 sets new standards for immersive virtual reality (VR) entertainment and will allow millions of users around the world to experience the power of eye-tracking,” commented Tobii CEO Anand Srivatsa.

A strong partnership

“Our partnership with Sony Interactive Entertainment (SIE) is further validation of Tobii’s world-leading technology to deliver innovative solutions for the mass market.”

Tobii expects revenue from the deal with Sony to account for more than 10 percent of the company’s total revenue in 2022.
