Pokémon Go: Events in July 2022 – what’s coming up?
Surprised! The makers of Pokémon Go seem to be holding back with their flood of events in July 2022. Well, at least there are real-world happenings, such as the Pokémon Go Fest in Berlin and at the end of the month in Seattle. We’ve got the rundown on Community Day, Pokémon Go 6th Anniversary Event, and more—and a debut event with surprises awaits!
What’s coming up, what events are there in July 2022 in Pokémon Go? Which ones are for all players, and which ones only for select (aka paying) coaches? The latter question can be answered quickly. Since July 1st, 2022 and until July 3rd, 2022 there is in Berlin the first live Pokémon Go Fest of the year. There’s the usual mix of habitat spawns, boss fights, and special research. But since not all Trainers are making their way to Berlin, we don’t need to go into detail – the same applies to the Pokémon Go Fest in Seattle at the end of July 2022. So here is the list of (so far clear) events in Pokémon Go for all players!
Pokémon Go 6th Birthday – July 6, 2022
From July 6, 2022 to July 12, 2022, the developers will be celebrating Pokémon Go at the annual anniversary event! There’s Glutexo, Charizard, and Pikachu with costumes and hats, lots of wilderness spawns from starter Mon of different generations, lots of shinys, lots of raids, and a weekend of battles against Team Rocket and Giovanni. The latter brings you Crypto-Latios.
Community Day with Staralili – July 17, 2022
Pack your sunscreen, because on July 17th, it’s a Sunday, there’s Community Day again from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., this time with Staralili, which you can then also get hold of as a Shiny. All information known so far can be found in the Staralili Community Day announcement.
??? Event – July 27, 2022
We don’t really know anything about this event yet, but the developers are revealing this much: “An event with new Pokémon debuts and new adventures? You can bet on it! Get ready for our surprise event, which takes place on Wednesday, July 27th 2022 through Tuesday 2 August 2022.”
But we’re curious about that. Remember that otherwise every Tuesday the limelight hour is held in July. If you’re lucky, you can snag a lot of shinys again. And on Wednesdays, between 6:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m., the legendary raid hour is on as usual!
