Pokémon Go: Niantic wants to connect you better - the release of the Campfire app begins

In these days and the coming days, Pokémon Go developers will start the global rollout of their new app Campfire.

This social app is intended to make it easier for players to network with each other and, among other things, to discover new places.

Trial with Pokemon Go

Campfire has already been tested with Ingress in the past few months, and it will be expanded to all Niantic games soon. In selected regions, however, tests with Pokémon Go will first take place during the summer.

When you open Campfire, you’ll see a dynamic map of the area with in-game events and activities from friends and other nearby players.

More Pokemon Go news:

“At the top right you will find icons that take you to the game channels or game-specific map views,” it says. “You can switch between these channels while watching in-game events.”

Among other things, Campfire is intended to make networking easier for local communities, you can also add friends and send direct and group messages.

With regard to Pokémon Go, for example, it will be possible to share upcoming raid battles as direct or group messages and thus make appointments.
