Summersun. barbecue smell

teasers

The hot months have us under control, the release calendar is on siesta, but our authors are not lacking in anticipation for Stranger Things, the return of Xenoblade and burger films.

This content would not be financially viable without the premium users. But we urgently need more supporters: You can help too!

[FILME/SERIEN] Actually, the Sunday after the barbecue (i.e. today) was to watch the two finals StrangerThings– Episodes announced this season, but unfortunately my little one (= watcher) has a purulent tonsillitis and prefers to nibble on antibiotics than on chips. But then just next weekend or something. Unfortunately, that’s the same fellow watcher who dropped out with me for the time being Umbrella Academy Watch season 3 together (great so far, we got to episode 4). Not to forget: The second half of the unfortunately last season of Better Call Saul is due shortly.

[SPIELE/BRETTSPIELE] To my happy surprise, there will be at least one more season, i.e. ten episodes, with mine Elden ring-Letsplay continue, the next live event will be in the 4th week of July. July does everything new: To stretch the time a bit, we’re doing the first nine episodes spread over three weeks and then doing a live episode in the fourth, which can be extended by the live donations (since I suspect that the Season 8 won’t be full anymore (but if I’m wrong, we can still respond in the 4th week of July). Enjoy a July full of Elden Ring letsplays. And, have I fooled you, haven’t you noticed that I’m not mentioning a new game…? Because I really can’t think of any new releases at the moment, so I’m probably in the haze Warhammer 3, Dune Spice Wars and of course will move retro games. So you can approach a Classic SdK from Anatol Locker and me in a few days Bladerunner be happy.

[SONSTIGES] After the live event, diamond dinner and barbecue in one week, I actually filled my other account well. But by mid-July the decision will be made as to whether I will turn a planning phase that has been going on for several weeks into concrete crowdfunding. You will soon know.

[FILME/SERIEN] I don’t really want to do anything in terms of series or films. In the end it always turns out differently. Well then, let me tell you Bob’s Burgers – The Movie. I’m always skeptical about films based on series, but the Belcher family has grown dear to me. Also, season 6 is going by Better Call Saul finally further. I’m a bit sad that it’s ending. But fuck me, the cliffhanger at the end of the first half of the season was just too strong to be offended by it.

[SPIELE/BRETTSPIELE] I don’t care about the summer slump when the sun breaks. Exactly, Monster Hunter Rise-Sunbreak is out and I’ll be spending a lot of time in Elgado. The demo alone was awesome, so the finished expansion can only be good.

[SONSTIGES] For one thing, I’m looking forward to being on vacation as you read these lines. Prague ahoy! Of course, I’m also looking forward to the GamersGlobal barbecue with great anticipation. Three years is definitely too much of a gap between two issues!

[FILME/SERIEN] I like StrangerThings not least because of the, in my opinion, very successful references to the 80s. But my desire is limited to watch individual seasons in fragments. Since the rest is coming this month, I’ll finally be able to get started. In any case, I will also take a look resident Evil, but I suspect I’ll have limited fun with it. The films (don’t know all of them) were okay, but nothing more. Otherwise, I’ll just keep going with Fargo. Season 1 was very good, apart from that unnecessary “fish scene”. After the first episode of season 2 I had interrupted a few weeks ago, so I didn’t find the beginning particularly exciting. I’ll keep looking anyway at some point. Because I like Ted Danson , cheers I haven’t watched it for years, but I thought the characters in Cheers were great and I want to know what will become of his role.

[SPIELE/BRETTSPIELE] In July, my favorite is absolutely clear: Xenoblade Chronicles 3. Apart from the mixed WiiU offshoot, I had a lot of fun with all parts of the series, especially since the worlds have always managed to suck me in audiovisually. Unlike most other series favorites, part 1 is not the best part here in my opinion, but the third part on Switch. I’m very curious to see whether Monolith Soft will be able to increase it again, although the hardware doesn’t let up too much. But I’ll tell you that in my test on GamersGlobal…

[SONSTIGES] The term joy in relation to aging doesn’t really fit, and for me, my own birthday is usually a day like any other. But a “round” is something else. Will I then always have to get up at night to pee in the future, or even several times? I will experience it. But one thing is certain: just as I didn’t even start thinking about going to an over-30 party ten years ago, over-30 parties of any kind will also be out of the question for me in the future. Why don’t you throw an “under 100 party” and maybe I’ll come too, unless, of course, under 100 means “less than 100 people”.

[FILME/SERIEN] I’ve heard a lot of good things about lately theboys, a vicious and brutal superhero satire in which the “heroes” belong to a mega-corporation and only use their powers when it serves their popularity. In addition, Colleague Hilla is absolutely right when it comes to the charm of the Belcher family. Since the series seems to be niche in this country, I am all the more surprised that Bob’s Burgers the film also comes to the cinemas in this country – what a nice surprise.

[SPIELE/BRETTSPIELE] When it comes to new releases, I’m excited as a velvet paw in Stray make a cyberpun town unsafe. Apart from that, I’m happy about the reunion with a PS5 (it’s not mine, but a replacement device), so that I can finally start titles like Dark Souls 2 or It Takes Two can bring to an end.

[SONSTIGES] July starts off strong with the GG BBQ Celebration. After that, I’m off to see my very close friends again and thus to the next party, because one of them is celebrating his 30th birthday with a large group.

Karsten Scholz
[FILME/SERIEN] Movie by movie and series by series, my wife and I are slowly but surely working our way up the Mountain of Joy that has been piling up over the past few months. Nevertheless, we don’t really need any new releases for quite a while. Once Season 4B of StrangerThings there, I would like to binge the complete episodes in several days. It’s going to be great! And if The Gray Man With Ryan Gosling and Chris Evans should be entertaining, I’ll also watch the new film der Russo-Brothers in.

[SPIELE/BRETTSPIELE] I already wrote it last month: Thanks to the renewed Playstation Plus service, a few games have now ended up on my Playstation 5, which I would like to play in the coming weeks. alone with Spider-Man: Miles Morales, Returnal and Assassin’s Creed Valhalla I’m sure I’ll get through July well. And with Stray there will even be an exciting Day 1 release, which I will of course take with me.

[SONSTIGES] Since the next exciting gaming events are not due until August, Karsten of the July future is looking forward to his little vacation. Unfortunately, it’s not possible to leave. Thanks to parental leave and rising costs, we have to save a bit, and for some reason we are expecting parents’ evenings or summer events in the local kindergartens, schools and crèches every few days anyway. My only hope at the moment is that it cools down a bit. 30+ degrees in an old apartment, nobody needs that.

[FILME/SERIEN] July. Summer, sun, crickets. There isn’t much time or leisure left for the media box or the cinema. Even the temperatures don’t tempt you to go into the cooled cinema for at least a few hours. I also have “climate” at home. But an exception will probably be made – Thor: Love and Thunder should alone because of the humorous undertone and Nathalie Portman be worth seeing as the new Hammer wrestler. And the local pocket cinema is looking forward to the last episodes of Better Call Saul. I admit I was skeptical at first how this would pan out breaking badSpin-off developed, but the skepticism was and is unfounded. Great series!

GAMES/BOARD GAMES]Hopefully there’s some truth to the saying “good things come to those who wait”. The tactical monster RPG will be released at the end of July Digimon Survive. According to the manufacturer, in time for the 20th anniversary. Although I’m not sure which anniversary this could mean exactly, because Digimon has been around for a long time? In any case, I’m excited because Digimon Survive has been postponed several times and I’ve liked the series for a long time. The next title I’m very interested in is the Far Eastern Tactical Hammer Nobunaga’s Ambition: Rebirth. By the way, Koei’s flagship franchise turns 40 next year! However, at the top of my list is the third part of Xenoblade Chronicles. The game will appear earlier than planned at the end of July – and should then keep me busy for the whole of August.

[SONSTIGES] In keeping with the Far Eastern game selection, there’s only one new title I’ve got on my radar this month: Marvel’s Demon Wars: Iron Samurai by the Japanese artist Peach Momoko. Otherwise I read a few older comics again and am just rediscovering the world of audio books.

[FILME/SERIEN] Now that I’ve had the splendid season 4 and the ailing season 5 of This Is Us searched away, I’m now watching the final sixth season. One episode a week on Amazon is torture! I will probably then parallel the third season of barry continue watching, a comedy about a hitman who would also like to be an actor.

[SPIELE/BRETTSPIELE] The work is challenging me right now, the pile of shame is high. So right now I’m playing the nice real-time role-playing game called Work-Life-Balance.

[SONSTIGES] In the first weekend of July there is a week’s holiday with my sweetheart and her daughters in Tyrol. The GamersGlobal barbecue would have been perfect – if it hadn’t been my children’s and work weekend. At least there is a lot of new music. XI: Bleed Her Now from …And You Will Know Us by the Trail of Dead, The Other Side of Make-Believe from Interpol, The Theory of Whatever from Jamie T and myself up The hardest part from Miley’s sister Noah Cyrus I’m curious because their last EP was really nice.
