Looking for SNES manuals? This website has them (almost) all

A Twitch streamer and self-proclaimed archivist has managed to collect digital scans of the manuals for all English-language SNES games.

For the past eight years, Peebs has been busy playing SNES titles on Twitch. And that’s when he got the idea.

If it doesn’t exist, you have to do it yourself

Peebs noticed that there is no website that offers a complete archive of SNES manuals.

After several years, Peebs has now created its own archive and is making it available to all of you online. You can access it here.

While such pages are not uncommon, having a complete set on one of them is the exception rather than the rule. Although, of course, they are not all manuals for the system, but, as mentioned, for the English-language releases.

But even that is quite an achievement, there are a total of 844 pieces and that was not an easy task. On the one hand because you have to rely on the help of others, and on the other hand some games are rather rare and in many cases manuals are no longer available.

“After a few years of poking around the Wayback Machine, buying a scanner, making a lot of good friends and having almost 100 people sending in scans on the internet,” his archive of English-language SNES manuals is now complete. On July 1, Peebs added 90 Minutes European Prime Goal to the last entry.

On his site you will also find English-language manuals for the Nintendo 64 and for the Virtual Boy, as well as selected manuals for the Super Famicom. The collection will continue to grow in the future.
