CoD Modern Warfare 2: Beta will probably start later than expected – insider leaks specific date

After some back and forth, we now know with a high probability the time period for the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 beta. The reliable CoD insider Ralph Valve has dismissed other reports and reveals the correct date for the test phase, which is divided into two weeks is. First we start with Early Access and the Open Beta on the PlayStation, then all other platforms can join (via whatifgaming).

Week 1 (Only on PS4 and PS5):

• Early Access: September 15th – September 16th
• Open Beta: September 17th – September 19th

Week 2 (All platforms):

• Early Access: September 22nd – September 23rd
• Open Beta: September 24th – September 26th

It’s all about this: Recently, there has been a bit of confusion surrounding the launch of the Modern Warfare 2 test phase. According to an alleged leak from Amazon, it should be ready in August, but that’s obviously not true if we are to believe Ralph Valve. Instead of the beta, there will be various information and events about multiplayer in the coming month. The focus is apparently on “traditional game modes, new types of games and surprises”.

This is the schedule: If you’re playing on a PS4 or PS5, you can get started before anyone else. No pre-order of the game is necessary for this, as it is an open beta. With the Early Access distributed as a pre-order bonus, you can also start gambling two days earlier.
