Fortnite x Fall Guys event completely fails fans

Many were extremely looking forward to the Fortnite x Fall Guys. But the crossover event fell through completely with fans.

Cary, North Carolina – Fall Guys has been free to dash through its levels for two weeks. To celebrate, the developer studio sat down with Epic Games and fine-tuned the Crown Clash event. However, the fans are not very enthusiastic about the unlockable items and already have suggestions for improvement.

Fortnite x Fall Guys: Crossover falls short of fan expectations

This includes both emotes and various Fortnite skins. The event runs from June 29th to July 11th. The following rewards can be obtained.

• 10 rounds: “Stacked” spray
• 20 rounds: “Stacked with Love” emoticon
• 40 rounds: Sweet Clementine pickaxe
• 70 rounds: “Waffler” backpack
• 100 turns: Major Mancake outfit

Therefore, many fans are disappointed: However, many fans are disappointed with the unlockable rewards. While Major Mancake is a popular Fortnite character, for some the connection to Fall Guys is missing. Fans would have liked the crossover to adapt the items to Fall Guys style.

Mancake outfit is not enough: Especially with regard to the long playing time to get the Major Mancake skin, this event does not seem to be worthwhile for all Fortnite players. Suggestions for improvement for Epic Games are already circulating on Twitter. There, the Major Mancake skin has been adjusted to look like it’s straight out of the Fall Guys universe.

Because when the event started on June 29th, there was no official announcement from Epic Games about what rewards the players could look forward to. This only happened a day later. Many fans learned about various leaks from the major mancake skin.

Fortnite x Fall Guys Crossover: There are not only critical voices

What other voices say about the event: Some of the fans say that the event shouldn’t be seen as just another Fortnite collaboration. Rather, it’s about drawing attention to the free version of Fall Guys. And since both Battle Royale games are free, you can also look forward to the free items.

Therefore the event can be worthwhile: It is also not yet known whether the mancake skin and other items will return to the Fortnite shop. That’s why you should take the chance to secure the skin if you like the look. Also, playing 100 rounds of Fall Guys is arguably still easier than the Fortnite x Naruto Rivals Nindo Challenge.

Fortnite x Fall Guys Crossover: Rocket League is also at the start

So maybe the one or the other disappointed Fortnite fan will find the rewards in Rocket League a little more enjoyable. Otherwise, fans will have to wait for the next Fortnite crossover – Dead by Daylight is already rumored to be a possible candidate.
