Editions, prices and bonuses for PS4 and PS5

It’s time. The release of God of War Ragnarok is confirmed. We reveal where and when you can pre-order the game and what to expect in the editions.

SANTA MONICA, CALIFORNIA – The release of Sony’s God of War Ragnarök for the PS4 and PS5 has finally been officially announced and the fans are beginning to tremble: when will the game be available to buy? And what editions are there anyway? We show you all the editions that you can pre-order from God of War and tell you what bonuses are waiting for you.

Pre-order God of War Ragnarök: These editions are available

What editions are there and how much do they cost? If you want to pre-order God of War Ragnarök, you have the choice between four different editions. There is the Standard Edition, the Launch Edition, the Digital Deluxe Edition, the Collector’s Edition and the Jötnar Edition. You can find out what’s in the individual editions below. The prices of the editions have not yet been announced.

When can you pre-order? The sale of the game has not started yet. You can play God of War Ragnarök from the July 15, 2022 pre-order at 10 a.m. We will then include the relevant links in this article.

Is there additional content if you pre-order? No matter which edition of God of War Ragnarök you choose to pre-order, you will definitely get bonus content. The launch edition is the cheapest version, but there are also small goodies for pre-ordering. However, these are only available until the release of God of War Ragnarök.

Pre-order God of War Ragnarök: All contents of the editions for PS4 and PS5 at a glance

This is in the standard edition: The standard edition of God of War Ragnarök is the normal game. You get God of War Ragnarök on PS4 or PS5, but otherwise you don’t get any additional content. In order to get these, you must pre-order the launch edition of God of War Ragnarok. For a price of 10 euros you can upgrade the standard edition of the PlayStation 4 to the PS5 console.

This is in the launch edition: If you pre-order the standard edition of God of War Ragnarök, you will get the game for the platform of your choice (PS4 or PS5). You will also receive two pieces of digital content, armor for Kratos and one for Atreus.

What’s in the Digital Deluxe Edition: In the Digital Deluxe Edition you get a whole lot more digital content. Both versions – for PS4 and PS5 – are also included here. So if you ever switch consoles, you don’t have to pay anything to upgrade the game. Here you can find all the bonuses when you pre-order this edition of God of War Ragnarok.

What’s in the Collector’s Edition: We come to the big fish. In the Collector’s Edition, hardcore fans can expect a full load of cool content. Among other things, you can complete a set of carvings if you have already bought the Collector’s Edition of God of War (2018). What’s in the Jötnar Edition: The Jötnar Edition of God of War Ragnarök is the largest and therefore the most expensive that you can pre-order. In addition to the content of the Collector’s Edition, you get a lot more in the Jötnar Edition. This content is also waiting for you if you pre-order the most expensive edition of God of War Ragnarök.
