With PS Plus Extra and Premium you have access to a huge library of bonus titles. Unfortunately, Sony’s official lists in the browser version of the PS Store and on the console are incomplete or so confused that many games could slip through your fingers.
We rummaged through and picked out a few PS Plus bonus titles that are not even listed in the online store and can only be found on the console indirectly.
One of the best titles among them: stones; Gate Elite. An acclaimed visual novel, which you can check out in the trailer here.
Stein’s Gate Elite – Story Trailer
- Genre: visual novel
- Platform: PS4
- Metacritics: 86
That’s what it’s about: Steins Gate revolves around a group of scientists who travel through time to manipulate the past and become involved in a conspiracy in the process. You can’t expect a game in the true sense, but rather a playable book in which you click through dialogues and make decisions every now and then to bring about one of several possible endings.
So the focus is on the story, and it’s really exciting and fantastically animated thanks to elaborate anime cutscenes.
Where can I find Steins Gate? The title cannot be found in Sony’s official PS Plus games list via the web browser, only when you access the game directly from the store. Alternatively, go to the PS Plus app in the home menu on your PS5, then go to the “Games” category at the top. Sort all games by their name and select the appropriate title.
You can then download it for free with the Extra/Premium subscription.
