Biomutant: Free Upgrade on PS5 and Xbox Series brings 4K, HDR and more
On September 6th, Biomutant gets a decent upgrade for the PlayStation 5 and the Xbox Series X and S. The free update for the next-gen consoles offers 4K resolution, HDR support and an improved frame rate “up to 60 FPS”.
Upgrade free for Biomutant owners
There are three graphics modes available on the PS5. Quality mode gives 30 FPS at 4K resolution, Quality Unleashed offers 40 FPS or more up to 4K, and Performance mode runs Biomutant at 60 FPS at 1440p.
You also have these three modes to choose from on the Xbox Series – for the Series S there is a slightly slimmed down mode. Instead of 30 FPS at 4K, there is only 1440p on the small white console, the Quality Unleashed mode also only brings 1440p and the Performance mode only offers 1080p on the S.
