The Paderborn-based publisher Aerosoft is planning its largest exhibition stand to date in Cologne when participating in Gamescom 2022.
Aerosoft, a publisher specializing in simulation games, today officially announces its participation in Gamescom 2022. The company will be represented with its own stands in both areas, i.e. both the public entertainment area and the business area reserved for trade visitors.
On an area of more than 100 square meters in Hall 8.1, the publisher offers visitors of all ages an insight into upcoming simulations, including previously unannounced titles. In addition to play stations for PC and console games, visitors can let off steam on three large simulators: There is a full-motion simulator, a real off-road truck (from the game Heavy Duty Challenge) and the driver’s cab of a real fire truck, in which the players can take a rescue route can simulate.
Winfried Diekmann, CEO and founder of Aerosoft, says: “One hears of cancellations from individual international publishers, but we stand by gamescom and Germany as a location – and this year we even have our largest stand so far. We’re looking forward to finally getting back into the fray after two miserable years of reduced contact with our players! And we promise: We have a lot of exciting games in our luggage, which can of course also be played on site!
The media can book interviews with Aerosoft and the developers of the games in the business area during Gamescom. More detailed line-up information will be announced in the coming weeks. A preliminary portfolio overview will be available on August 12, 2022 with the NextSim stream, in which Aerosoft will summarize the impressions, footage and interviews from its own NextSim in-house exhibition.
On August 12, 2022 at 8:00 p.m. Aerosoft will present all the highlights from the event in the NextSim stream. What’s new? A total of ten new products will be presented at NextSim 2022. The highlight are several previously unannounced titles that will be unveiled in Paderborn. There is also new information on titles that were presented last year, such as the off-road simulation Heavy Duty Challenge from Nano Games and the heavy-duty transport simulation Heavy Cargo – The Truck Simulator from tox² interactive.
And of course, as always with Aerosoft, it’s also about maintaining existing games and communities: the developers of Autobahn Police Simulator 3 have revealed news about upcoming DLCs and HR Innoways reveals how Winter Resort Simulator 2 will continue. The Base Builder Zombie Cure Lab by Thera Bytes will also be on display. On top of that, you will find out which simulators for consoles that have already been released for the PC are in the works.
“NextSim 2022 is the biggest event of the year for us. We can’t wait to present our upcoming novelties to the players together with all cooperating development studios. This year we have an extensive line-up ready, ranging from vehicle simulations to the zombie-themed lab builder,” says Winfried Diekmann, Managing Director of Aerosoft.
