For his "merits" in Elden Ring: Bandai Namco gives Let Me Solo Her a sword

from Oliver Jaeger
Elden Ring legend “Let Me Solo Her”, who caused a stir a few months ago with his bizarre appearance in the Soulsborne game, has now been personally gifted a sword including other Elden Ring accessories by publisher Bandai Namco. Let Me Solo Her is known for helping other games fight Malenia.

The Elden Ring player “Let Me Solo Her”, who goes by the name “KleinTsuboi” on Twitter, achieved fame and glory within the open-world role-playing game community a few months ago. In April, Let Me Solo Her made an appearance in Elden Ring, assisting desperate players in defeating Malenia, the sword of Miquella.

The strange thing about it is his demeanor, because Let Me Solo Her, armed with katanas, only wears a bowl on his head and underwear when he confronts the boss. His game name comes from the fact that he practically single-handedly defeated Malenia – and has now done so more than 2,000 times. Since then, a lot of fanart is said to have accumulated and the first imitators to have emerged.

In fact, the player seems to have caused such a stir that even developer From Software and publisher Bandai Namco took notice of him and, on top of that, rewarded him with various gifts. Sent back in May, the gift is said to have arrived in the US, where KleinTsuboi is based, at the end of June due to some delivery issues.

This package, sent by Bandai Namco, was said to be one of 40 released to Elden Ring influencers, PC Gamer reports. Included in Little Tsuboi’s package were the following Elden Ring accessories:

  • A congratulatory message from Bandai Namco.
  • A wood carving depicting Malenia.
  • A map of the lands between.
  • A cloak with a clasp closure.
  • A sword engraved with “Rise, Tarnished”.

The latter is certainly the highlight of the pack, although Little Tsuboi explained via Reddit that the sword’s blade is quite blunt, but he believes it was created from just one piece of metal from the blade tip to the butt of the hilt. On Twitter, KleinTsuboi aka Let Me Solo Her thanked Bandai Namco for the gift and shared photos of the package’s contents. In addition, he chatted out the box and he reports on his experiences with the Soulsborne games and that he almost threw in the towel in Dark Souls 3. Luckily, as it turned out, he let that be.
