Loopmancer: Side Scroller Action Made in China is out July 13th

Stylish action from the Far East: The cyberpunk roguelite Loopmancer will be released on July 13th. A release on PC on Steam and in the Epic Game Store is planned. The developer is the eBrain Studio from Beijing.

Cyberpunk action with katana

The 2.5D action, which at first glance reminds us of games like Shadow Complex or Strider, stages fast-paced combat with katana, firearms and grappling hooks in a stylish sci-fi setting. Loopmancer is set in a 2064 cyber city where neuro-interfaces, nano-biotechnology and bionic prosthetics are standard.

The story revolves around private detective Xiang Zixu, who dies on an assignment. But instead of finding himself in the afterlife, he wakes up again in his bed – just before he is given the same fateful task again. In seven areas, Xiang Zixu is to face more than thirty enemy types. After each death, a new loop begins for the detective, with decisions from previous runs affecting the story and the end of the game.
