SKATE 4 is being developed using the Frostbite Engine and could release around Halloween.

With game scenes from the pre-alpha, developer Full Circle showed for the first time last week moving pictures from SKATE 4.

In addition, a playtest was already running, for which players could also register in order to take a look at the latest part of the skate simulation.

As you can see from the playtest, SKATE 4 is being developed with the Frostbite engine. This is Publisher Electronic Arts’ in-house engine, which is used for the Battlefield games, among other things.

However, since the engine is not easy to use, it was already dispensed with in the next part of the Mass Effect series or the Star Wars games.

The future will show what difficulties the engine in SKATE 4 could possibly present.

Although the first gameplay made it clear that this is an unfinished game, according to a leak, the game could be released for Halloween this year. The reason for the assumption are stickers and decorations for Halloween that were discovered. However, it can be assumed that it will be launched on Halloween 2023 rather than this year.
