WoW: When warlocks still pretended to be demon hunters…

Sorcerer

from Philip Sattler
Demon hunters are an integral part of today’s WoW. However, it is easy to forget that the agile class has not been part of the game for long. In places, however, funny entries in the game remind you of it. Remember when warlocks pretended to be demon hunters?

In the history of WoW, the demon hunter has long been a relevant part. Just think back to Illidan in the Black Temple. However, it took until the sixth expansion before Blizzard fulfilled our wish and we were allowed to take players into battle as glaive wielders. Apparently we weren’t the only ones who were attracted to today’s hero class. Warlocks already tried to pretend to be demon hunters in WoD.

Of course, this is particularly strange since warlocks actually rely on the help of the demons instead of hunting and imprisoning them. With their armies of different servants – from the imp to the devil guard – they use the strength of the demons to decide the fight for themselves. It is not for nothing that one of the ways of playing is also known as “Demonology”.
