Crystal Dynamics: Developer studio celebrates 30th birthday

The American development studio Crystal Dynamics is celebrating its 30th birthday.

Reason to celebrate for Crystal Dynamics. The American developer studio is now 30 years old.

Founded in 1992 by former SEGA employees, Crystal Dynamics was part of Eidos Montreal from 1998 and Square Enix from 2009 until it was taken over by the Embracer Group in 2022 together with other development studios.

The San Francisco-based studio’s game portfolio includes popular games such as Gex, Crash n’ Burn, the Legacy of Kain series, Project Snowblind, numerous Tomb Raider spin-offs and the 2020 release of Marvel’s Avengers.
