Warzone reshuffles the meta. Players are wondering because the July 7th update nerfs the strongest weapons twice in one week.

Santa Monica, California – There is a new update in Warzone. The July 7, 2022 patch notes show that two meta-weapons are hit by the nerf hammer. We’ll tell you what’s changing on the NZ-41 and H4 Blixen and which guns you should be playing in Activision’s Battle Royale now.

Warzone: July 7, 2022 update nerfs the strongest weapons

These weapons have been nerfed (again): The new Warzone Season 4 is still quite young. However, a meta quickly emerged, i.e. the best weapons in Warzone. So that it doesn’t become too monotonous, the developer is diligently patching up and making balance changes to the Battle Royale. The fresh update from 7.7. but only changes two weapons that are considered absolute favorites. Here are the patch notes and what they mean to you:

  • NZ-41: “Recoil Recovery decreased by 20%‘ – Vanguard Assault Rifle now resets recoil 20% slower when fired. If you shoot wildly, the crosshairs will find their way back to the center less often.
  • The NZ-41’s “8mm Klauser 40 rounds magazine” now gives an additional 10% more recoil
  • H4 Blixen: “Lower Torso Damage Multiplier decreased to 1.0, down from 1.1– Vanguard’s SMG now does less damage when hit in the abdomen. So you better hit the head, or you have to live with a slightly higher TTK (Time to Kill).

Play these meta weapons now in Warzone: So with the July 7th update, the two meta-weapons NZ-41 and H4 Blixen will be further attacked. Curiously, both weapons were nerfed just last week with the June 30th Warzone update. This now makes the Cooper carbine the better choice and the new assault rifle king in Warzone. Initial tests show that there is still power left for the NZ-41 even after the nerf:

When it comes to submachine guns, most players should now use the Marco 5. The new MP from the current season received minor nerfs last week, but it’s still a monster. Expert JGOD shows you a “Marco 5” setup in Warzone for Season 4, with which you can shave your opponents even at longer distances.

Warzone: Update from 7.7. fixes legal wallhacks – patch notes

What else has changed? The July 7th update also brought some bug fixes into the game. Of particular note is the fix for a nasty glitch that allowed you to peek through walls and also shoot. So those legal wallhacks on the map Caldera are finally history.

Otherwise there are only slight bug fixes, which most players will hardly have noticed. But it’s a good sign that the developer is diligently putting out updates for Warzone and bringing the game into a balanced state – or at least trying to. You can find the full patch notes on the official site here Raven Software.

However, one thing has not changed in the update: a new Pay2Win skin from Warzone makes the owners invisible. Players joke in frustration that Roze is making the Battle Royale unsafe for the third time.
