Grand Theft Auto and Red Dead Online: Community Update. What happens in summer and beyond?
Rockstar Games announces a comprehensive statement on the upcoming updates for GTA 5 and Red Dead Redemption 2.
Rockstar Games announces, “Before we take a look at what’s in store for the Rockstar Games community over the coming weeks and months, we’d like to take this opportunity to thank you all for your unparalleled enthusiasm and passion for all of our games . Your support drives us in everything we do and we’re excited to share the first details of new updates and more with you.”
“Thanks to the new releases on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, more players than ever are taking to the streets of Los Santos. We’re constantly working to improve the overall GTA Online gaming experience with new gameplay updates and to provide the game with community-requested tweaks and upgrades designed to ensure players can enjoy GTA Online content even more undisturbed. “
In just a few weeks, a new update is coming to GTA Online on all platforms that will deepen the criminal careers of all executives, bikers, gun smugglers and nightclub owners. There are also new contact missions in which you can get to the bottom of a criminal conspiracy as an IAA special agent.
The update also includes some changes long-requested by the community, such as reduced effectiveness of Oppressor Mk II guided missiles and countermeasures, an easier way to access snacks and armor, and the ability to perform sell missions in player-only sessions to start with an invitation.
These are just a few of the improvements you can expect to see in GTA Online this summer, with more player feedback and lessons to be learned in the future.
“We’re also increasing GTA$ payouts in many areas of the game to reward players for their time, regardless of what they’re playing. Because of the endless possibilities in GTA Online, we strongly believe that increasing payouts will allow players to engage with the content they love and get to what they want faster.”
Bodyguards, staff and MC members can look forward to significantly increased payouts designed to encourage and reward cooperative play. On top of that there are increased GTA$ payouts for a variety of activities such as Races, Adversary Modes and select Heist Finales.
“In addition, we’re constantly working to deliver special seasonal events, additional bonuses & gifts, community challenges, and other surprises to ensure Los Santos remains dynamic and unpredictable.”
