Those of WoW fans who are more fond of the live version of the game than the classic version are eagerly awaiting the start of the WoW: Dragonflight Alpha. Because the longer Blizzard’s WoW makers wait to start the alpha, the greater the possibility that Dragonflight will be a bug festival for release. Now there are rumors about Dragonflight’s alpha launch on July 14, 2022.
Two things from the still young weekend indicate that the alpha of WoW: Dragonflight could be launched shortly. On the evening of July 8, 2022 found the folks at WoWHead found out that the so-called “Battle.net Catalog Config Data” has been expanded to include the entry for the WoW Alpha: Dragonflight. So far, no data can be drawn about Battle.net, but from this changed configuration of the launcher it can be concluded with some certainty that the start of the alpha of the next WoW expansion is imminent. Possibly as early as next week?!
Rumor: Dragonflight Alpha coming July 14, 2022
Add to that the rumor being spread by the folks at Windows Central, Jez Corden in particular. In a previous Twitter exchange with industry insider Jason Schreier, prior to the announcement of Warcraft Arclight Rumble, he had hinted that the mobile game was a Clash Royale-inspired game and that a Pokémon Go-style game would be discontinued had been. So far he has been right (Needless to say, there is someone here who is very annoyed by such leaks).
Well, however: Jez Corden claims that the alpha of WoW (buy now ): Dragonflight is scheduled to launch next week, possibly July 14, 2022. We will not comment further on that at this point.
It is more important anyway that the alpha and then the beta of Dragonflight start as soon as possible. Because as we know, the expansion should appear before the turn of the year to 2023 – and then the developers should step on the gas so that the tests can be detailed and blatant errors can be fixed before the release. That will probably be in the interest of almost every WoW fan. For the testing phases of WoW: Dragonflight you can register as usual via the beta optin.
