According to job ads: single player title planned in the Apex Legends universe
Some job ads at Remedy Entertainment may currently reveal that a single player project in the universe of Apex Legends it’s planned. For example, the company’s website is looking for people to work on the “Apex Universe FPS Incubation Project”. The description for the job of “Hard Surface Artist” reveals that this is supposed to be a single player title. “We are looking for a talented and experienced mid-level 3D hardsurface artist to help develop a new Remedy singleplayer adventure“, says the job description. There has not yet been an official confirmation of this project from the Finnish studio.
Projects at Remedy
In January it was announced that Remedy was apparently working on a new brand. It is currently not known whether the single player project in the Apex universe will represent exactly this new brand, or whether this is a completely different project.
In addition, the Espoo-based studio is currently developing the sequel to Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, Star Wars Jedi: Survivor. At the Star Wars Celebration in May, the title was shown for the first time and should 2023 come on the market. In addition, work is being done on two other Star Wars games that have not yet been shown. This is both a strategy game and a first-person shooter.
Titanfall 3 coming?
Titanfall 3, on the other hand, is currently not in development despite numerous fans. As recently as last September, the company’s community coordinator confirmed that there were simply too many other projects being worked on at the moment. A single player game in the Apex universe does not necessarily make a third part of Titanfall more likely.
