Doctor Strange 2 almost featured a Deadpool universe
As Thor: Love and Thunder smashes into theaters (read our movie review here) and Ms Marvel prepares for her grand finale, is Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness finally landed on Disney Plus recently. So it’s time to deal with all the things that unfortunately didn’t make it into the finished film.
A brilliant alternative ending, for example, in which the evil Doctor Strange triumphs with the Darkhold and traps the good Doctor Strange in his universe forever – as a consequence of Strange controlling a corpse with his soul. As it turns out, in Doctor Strange 2 we would have (buy now €32.99) moreover almost a universe of Deadpool visited.
Doctor Strange 2: So Many Multiverses, So Many Possibilities
The info comes from the making of Doctor Strange, which is the title “Together Invincible” wears and that you on DisneyPlus can watch. In less than an hour, the actors, the screenwriter and other participants take you behind the scenes of the film and offer exclusive insights.
Among them were a few universes that were planned for the film but ultimately didn’t make it into the final version. Twitter user Amit Chaudhari has collected the deleted worlds as screenshots, and alongside some interesting aesthetics is one in particular universe particularly exciting: that of Deadpool.
In fact, one of the images features a series of different Deadpool posters, so they seem to really love the spell-cracking mercenary there. Unfortunately, Strange and America Chavez took a different turn, but Deadpool fans can at least look forward to the third film about the brutal superhero, as author Rhett Reese recently revealed.
