Availability from 11.07. – 7 traders could sell this week

Sony’s PS5 has kept popping up over the past few weeks. But what about supplies at the moment? We show you the hottest dealers this week.

Hamburg – When looking for the PS5 from Sony, buyers often have to keep an eye on dozens of retailers. Some big players like MediaMarkt and Saturn haven’t sold any supplies for weeks, while other retailers are quite happily launching new consoles. But what about this week? We’ll give you an overview of the hottest retailers and tell you where supplies might be available.

Buy PS5: availability this week – where could there be supplies?

This is the current situation: In the last week there was quite a good replenishment in Germany. OTTO and Amazon in particular have sold quite large quantities of consoles. At Amazon, however, the PS5 was only available in France and Great Britain, which could still be sent to Germany without any problems. The competitors MediaMarkt and Saturn, on the other hand, have remained silent, although there were hopes for big drops.

These are the hottest traders: The list of hot traders has changed little compared to the previous weeks. This is due to Amazon and OTTO’s willingness to drop and the tense situation at MediaMarkt and Saturn. Here is the overview:

• Buy PS5 at MediaMarkt and Saturn: At MediaMarkt and Saturn there have been rumors about a drop for weeks. Most recently, both dealers were busy tinkering with their PS5 pages. New bundles have been listed but have not yet been put online for sale. This is usually a big indication of an upcoming drop. In addition, MediaMarkt and Saturn have not sold any consoles for almost two months. So it’s high time for a drop again.
• Buy PS5 at Amazon: Here there are currently weekly replenishments. The various European Amazon houses drop in turn. In Germany there were last supplies two weeks ago, so it could be that time again this week. However, Prime Day, which also takes place this Wednesday and thus falls directly into the Amazon drop time, speaks against this. However, a sale cannot be completely ruled out and purely in terms of time, a drop this Wednesday would be quite conceivable.
• Buy PS5 from Müller: A fairly large number of PS5s were sold at Müller on May 13th. In June and July, however, there has been no sale so far. But you can definitely assume that there will be a drop every two months. So keep an eye on Mueller this week.
• Buy PS5 from Euronics: Euronics has long hoped for supplies. The console was last available for purchase here at the end of April. There has been radio silence for over two months. That’s quite a long time even for Euronics. So you can expect the drop to happen in July.
• Buy PS5 from PlayStation Direct: PlayStation Direct was busy with drops in May and June. There was at least one sale almost every week. In July, however, it is already quieter here. So far no sale has started. So it could be exciting again and maybe there will be new invitations for PlayStation Direct this week.
• Buy PS5 at GameStop: The last drop at GameStop took place on July 1st. Previously, the dealer sold the console several times in June. So there is a lot to suggest that there will be a second drop in July – maybe as early as this week.

Buy PS5: Console situation more and more relaxed – is the drought over?

This is how the situation developed: There have been numerous drops for the PS5 in recent months and the situation has eased noticeably. What is particularly interesting is that the scalpers around the console are becoming fewer and fewer. Bundles with games in particular are difficult to resell, which is why “normal” buyers have better chances of getting the console.

This is why the PS5 is sometimes available for several hours and buyers have better and better chances of getting supplies.
