New trailer for "Steelrising" shows titans

Publisher Nacon and developer Spiders (including Greedfall) have released a new gameplay trailer for their upcoming action role-playing game Steelrising. This puts the fight against the “merciless” machines in the foreground.

1789 is the year of the storming of the Bastille and the beginning of the fall of the monarchy. Steelrising presents an alternative version of history: what if King Louis XVI, who loved watchmaking, had built a powerful and ferocious army of robots capable of crushing the rebellion? Aegis, once an automaton created for the pleasure of the Hofes danced, is now a warrior, Marie Antoinette’s bodyguard. According to a Nacon statement, on behalf of the Queen he has to “navigate through a Paris teeming with machines. Each fight with the mechanical enemies is a challenge that puts the skills of the fans to the test.” The Souls-like is scheduled for release on September 8th for PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
