Battlefield 3 Reality Mod is coming this week and promises dark, tactical gameplay

Battlefield 3’s reality mod has been in development for seven years. Battlefield 3 itself is eleven years old. The mod will finally be released this week and aims to give players a realistic experience.

Only five more sleeps

On July 17th, so on Sunday, you can download the big fan project. The mod aims to offer you “an immersive gameplay and a more realistic experience” with a special focus on teamplay, communication and weapon combinations.

So the gameplay and UI have been reworked to allow for more tactical options. Players will benefit from an optimized movement speed, a new spawn system and some changes in weapon handling. Changing weather, day and night and destructible maps provide even more variety. New visual features and VOIP also improve battles with over 100 players.

If you want the revised fan version, you need a legal copy of Battlefield 3 with all DLCs, which currently costs a little over 75 euros on Steam. You can find out more about the mod on the official site. If you like it, you can download it from Sunday on the same website.
