Top opportunity to give the family an Office upgrade: Do you or your children use Microsoft Office at work or at school and use a free alternative at home for cost reasons? If you want to save yourself or your family from constantly having to rethink, you will always find different offers for an annual license of Microsoft 365 Family or Single, the rebrush of Office 365 Home and Personal. Up to six users can use it to write Word documents, create Excel spreadsheets and more on their own PC, Mac or mobile device.
The transition phase from Office 365 to Microsoft 365 is complete. Providers can further list the package under Microsoft 365 (Family or Single) and Office 365 (Personal for one, Home for six people). Unless otherwise indicated, the prices quoted apply to an annual subscription. The code for this comes digitally or by post. Just over 50 euros is considered a good price for the old Office package (for six people). Under the fresh name Microsoft 365 Single, the “bargain price level” for the small package is around just over 40 euros, according to our observations.
at Microsoft, the price is 99 or 69.99 euros (Family or single). In price comparisons, Amazon is currently a few euros more expensive than its competitors. Shipping costs can increase the price again in corresponding shops.
Don’t feel like the cloud?
There is also the offline solution Office 2019 Home & Student. The package has now been Office 2021 Home & Student replaced, which you for 82.99 euros to get. The retailer mysoftware.de, which specializes in digital licenses, has a code for the 2019 version for 35.99 euros. For personal life and business there is Office 2019 Home & Business for currently around 242 euros. These will be supported until 2025.
Office for business operations
Microsoft 365 Business is available for pure business purposes. You can get them online just over 115 euros. If the Essentials version is enough for you in the shop, you can find it online from around 65 euros.
This is what Microsoft 365 offers
Microsoft 365 is the name of Microsoft’s online office suite – formerly Office 365. Compared to before, new functions have been added, but existing subscribers also receive them.
Microsoft’s Office package contained therein is aimed at Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote and Outlook to private users. With it you’ll get 1 TB cloud storage space for each user. The well-known and widely used tools are of course available “on the cloud” in current versions.
Shops usually sell a product key that is sent either digitally or in a box. In the second case, of course, you will have to wait a few days for delivery. The key will be given to you as a download offer immediately after successful purchase in the account. Download after receiving the code Microsoft or Office 365 Home from Microsoft download it, link it to your Microsoft account and use the purchased product key to activate it.
In most cases, you can also extend an existing subscription for a year with purchased license keys. So that this fits smoothly, they should rather strike at offers from established manufacturers.
Microsoft 365 is characterized by its practical structure as an online service. For example, you can start a Word document on your home computer and finish it later on the train journey on your smartphone or tablet. Theoretically, you could also open your child’s school essay on the go and make corrections and much more. If you are still using an outdated version of Office or are not completely satisfied with OpenOffice, LibreOffice & Co., you can grab it.
