Genshin Impact: Sumeru Characters Tighnari, Collei, and Dori are now official:

After numerous leaks of upcoming characters, Hoyoverse is now making it official: the three characters Collei, Tighnari and Dori were presented on the Genshin Impact Twitter channel, but there is probably no surprise effect for the community.

Over the past few months, Genshin fans have been unable to escape the numerous leaks of future characters, and the new squad from the upcoming Sumeru territory has already been fully featured on various social channels. So there may be little excitement over the revealed characters of Collei, Tighnari and Dori, but at least the two are official now.

Collei is probably the long-awaited character among the new characters, having appeared in the Genshin manga and then in leaks. The green-haired archer with violet eyes is a forest warden-in-training and is now officially showing off her cute design on Twitter and could become one of the first Dendro users in the game.

There is also Tighnari, who has now also been introduced. He is also a forest warden – but already a finished one. His high fur ears already show: The boy must be important. Whether Collei or he will come to Genshin first as Dendro figures remains to be seen.

More Genshin Impact news:

The third character, Dori, is visually a bit of a mix between Qiqi and Diona in an airy Sumeru robe. She is a trader of the most diverse and exotic goods, who starts the fight with electric powers.

However, there has also been criticism of Sumeru’s character designs so far, because although the kingdom of Sumeru is loosely based on medieval cultures in the Middle East, there are no people of color among the new characters. It remains to be wished – also on the part of the community – that at least among the NPCs there will be a little more variety to do justice to the template in Sumeru.
