GoldenEye 007: War in Ukraine is reportedly causing delays in the remake
When is the supposed remaster or remake of GoldenEye 007 coming?
There has been speculation about this for a while, but there is still no official announcement.
A good reason for delays
One reason for the delays in this project seems to be the ongoing war in Ukraine.
At least that’s what journalist Jeff Grubb claims, writing on Twitter: “GoldenEye is still in limbo because of the war.”

A statement that, according to information from our English Eurogamer colleagues, is correct. The announcement of a game in which Russian soldiers are shot at seems to be avoided at the moment.
At the end of August, GoldenEye 007 celebrates its 25th birthday. Actually a good reason to publish a new edition. It is doubtful whether much will change in the war situation by then. Accordingly, the attitude in this regard should not change much.
Goldeneye is still in limbo because of the war. 1 v 100’s team lead left Microsoft. I don’t know what that means for the game.
