Bayonetta 3 gets age rating – violence, gore, nudity and in-game purchases

Will we finally get a release date for PlatinumGames’ Bayonetta 3 soon?

An age rating for Bayonetta 3, which was assigned in the USA by the Entertainment Software Rating Board, could at least indicate that.

The corresponding classification along with other markings can be found on Nintendo’s US website.

Bayonetta 3 has therefore received a Mature rating, the game contains “violence, gore, partial nudity, strong language and in-game purchases”.

According to Nintendo’s UK website, Bayonetta 3 has received a preliminary 18 PEGI rating there. However, the game is not yet available on the ESRB and PEGI websites.

Last year it was said that Bayonetta 3 would be released in 2022. Nothing has changed in this time window since then, but we are still waiting for a specific date.

Let’s hope we’ll be a little smarter about that soon.
