in one Twitter entry goes Yoshimi Yasuda, the president of developer Dragami Games, addressed the concerns of some fans who fear major changes to the game after the initial announcement. So the game should stay as close as possible to the original. The original announcement of a more realistic look should only have referred to the more advanced rendering options of the current generation of consoles. Yasuda has not yet been able to dispel fears of possible censorship cuts: negotiations with the platform operators have not yet taken place. However, Dragami Games wants to work to change as little as possible of the original vision.

For 16 of the songs in the original version of Lollipop Chainsaw were included, the licenses expired. According to the current status, these will not be renewed. According to Yasuda, the story will remain the same.
