"Police Simulator" asks for traffic control

Developer Aesir Interactive and publisher Astragon Entertainment are expanding their popular police simulation “Police Simulator: Patrol Officers”: With the “Traffic Management” update, the cops of the Brighton Police Department now have new traffic control options at their disposal.

With new tools, hand gestures and commands, controlling traffic in the busy streets of the fictional US east coast metropolis of Brighton will not only be easier for the patrol officers, but also more realistic in their depiction, Astragon said in a statement now possible to cordon off entire streets or individual lanes with traffic cones and barriers. Pedestrians and witnesses can also be instructed to wait at a specific point, not use a sidewalk or turn around, and choose an alternate route to their destination. Vehicles can also be asked to wait, to drive around a barrier, for example at the scene of an accident, or to turn around. In addition to the new functions, the “Traffic Management” update promises the gamers a number of bug fixes and refinements, for example an improved reaction from Vehicles on sirens and near intersections. Players will also have the ability to customize their vehicles’ siren sounds and light bar light patterns.
