The developer of SKATE 4 made a statement about recently leaked videos showing an unfinished game.

We reported on a series of leaked videos for SKATE 4 on Monday. It featured game scenes with tricks on the board and on foot, and some sort of introduction.

Developer Full Circle has now issued a statement and said the material came from a September 2021 build, i.e. from a version of the skateboard video game that is already ten months old. It was not intended for external use and had no permission.

It also advises caution when downloading files from unknown sources and the possible consequences of violating EA’s Terms of Service.

“We are aware that an earlier version of the game was distributed without our permission. This build is from September 2021 and was never intended for external use. While we understand that you’re excited about the game, we urge you to exercise caution when downloading files from unknown sources (and remind you of the potential consequences of violating EA’s Terms of Service). The best way to play the game is to sign up for skate. insider playtesting here as we continue to invite more players into the game throughout the year.”

However, Full Circle was also grateful for the many positive reactions that were received after the unveiling of the first trailer “Still Working On It”.
